My life’s great passion is for experiencing art, culture, food & the outdoors and all the visual, intellectual, physical & emotional joy, thoughtful revelation and historical insights such discoveries bring. As an interlocutor and art advisor, designing bespoke experiences for the adventurous, I aim to further the understanding of art & culture in our contemporary society.
My education – the BA in art history which investigated the influence of early X-ray images on artistic production (Columbia University), the MA turned towards urban issues and the PhD focused on art/cultural history of photography and social media (University of Applied Arts, Vienna) – has outfitted me with extensive knowledge covering the intersection of art, culture and society. Through such academic training and personal travels I understand where and how to find and encounter cultural treasures and how to enlist an audience to the joy of discovery. It is my belief that the experiences one makes while traveling can often lead to revelations that will make life more meaningful.
And even without venturing far afield there is always much to see or do that can expand one’s day-to-day horizons. To that effect I make it a point to keep well-versed in the arts and culture scene and to stay on top of current openings, productions and events. I have curated experiences for many curious minds in the art world. My focus has been on individual preferences with meticulous attention to detail on communicating and enabling the experience of the treasures of the arts in unexpected ways.
I'm bi-lingual – German & English, and speak conversational French, elementary Spanish & Persian.
Benefit from my insatiable curiosity!
And I'm an artist & photographer and chef & mixologist, too...
